The Bar at GiGi is where the evening begins, where aperitivo turns into dinner, and where guests settle into the rhythm of a long Italian night. Behind every beautifully made cocktail and effortless service is a bar team working together — and as a Barback, you are a vital part of making that happen.
We’re looking for a passionate, energetic Barback who thrives in a busy environment, loves being part of a team and wants the opportunity to learn and develop. You’ll work alongside our Bartenders and Bar Managers to keep the bar organised, stocked and ready for service. From preparing garnishes and replenishing glassware to keeping stations immaculate and anticipating what the team needs next, you’ll help create a bar operation that feels smooth, confident and effortless.

- Replenish stock throughout the shift and communicate when items are running low
- Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and cellar organisation
- Work with pace and urgency during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Anticipate what the bar team needs rather than waiting to be asked
- Support the wider restaurant team whenever needed
- Learn our drinks, ingredients and bar standards, developing your knowledge and skills along the way
WHO YOU ARE
- You don’t need years of bar experience — attitude, energy and a willingness to learn matter most.
