Due to continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious and driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. Based at our Gusto Group Head Office in Collingham, Newark, and reporting to the Construction Operations Manager, this role presents an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a dynamic and forward-thinking residential construction business.
The successful candidate will support the financial management of both commercial and residential construction projects, working closely with the quantity surveyor, operations manager, site managers, contractors, and clients to ensure that costs, contracts, and financial controls are managed effectively from inception through to completion. The role will also involve conducting regular site visits to assess progress, supporting valuations and cost control, and arranging and attending meetings with clients.
