Global University Systems (GUS) is an international network of higher education institutions and education businesses operating across multiple countries. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Company Secretary to lead governance and company secretarial activities across our global group structure.
This is a broad and visible role, working closely with the Board, Executive Team, and senior stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
- Acting as Company Secretary for the Group and its subsidiaries.
- Leading the planning and administration of Board and Committee meetings, including agendas, board papers, minutes, and governance records.
- Advising directors and senior leaders on company law, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining statutory registers and overseeing Companies House and other regulatory filings.
- Supporting corporate transactions, restructurings, entity incorporations, and wider legal projects.
- Monitoring legislative changes and ensuring compliance across the Group.
Proven experience in a Company Secretary or senior governance role, either in-house, within a law firm, or a corporate services environment.
Excellent organisational, communication, and minute-taking skills.
