Purpose of the Role
Produce and analyze all key economic and financial performance indicators of GUS France Group activities in order to support decision-making for the various departments and the Chief Executive Officer. Serve as a member of the Operations Committee.
Key Responsibilities
- Market, Program and Target Audience Analysis: Define and develop the business development strategy, including the selection of recruitment fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events, and oversee its execution across the acquisition, conversion, and retention phases. Develop compelling sales propositions and value messaging aligned with the institution's academic programmes. Conduct market, competitor, and technology intelligence to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging best practices. Perform market benchmarking and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making and strengthen market positioning.
- Business Development: Define and implement targeted business development initiatives to support prospect acquisition, lead conversion, and candidate retention. Lead the planning and execution of commercial campaigns aimed at generating and converting prospective student leads. Develop and deliver promotional initiatives to enhance programme visibility and drive student recruitment. Contribute to the definition and achievement of student enrolment targets. Identify and pursue new business development opportunities aligned with institutional objectives and market demand. Identify high-potential target audiences and analyse their needs to develop tailored recruitment approaches. Represent GUS France and its academic institutions with key referral partners, education stakeholders, and external influencers.
- Team Management: Managed, coached, and developed team members, setting objectives, coordinating activities, and driving performance.
- Reporting: Monitor individual and team performance, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing corrective actions where required. Collect, analyse, and evaluate performance data to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational and commercial performance. Ensure the achievement of agreed objectives and performance targets.
Skills and Competencies
- Technical Skills and Qualifications: Master's degree (Master's level) in Marketing, Business, or Sales. Strong sales presentation and negotiation skills. Expertise in commercial and business development techniques. Team management and leadership. Strong analytical skills. Entrepreneurial mindset, with agility and a collaborative networking approach. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems. Good command of English.
