About the Role
Global University Systems (GUS) is seeking a strategic and commercially minded Employer Branding Manager to shape and elevate our global employer brand. You will own and evolve our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), lead recruitment marketing strategy, and drive data-led talent attraction campaigns that strengthen our reputation and build sustainable talent pipelines across a complex, multi-brand environment. This is a high-impact, visible role working closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and senior leaders to position GUS as an employer of choice globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Employer Brand & EVP
- EVP discovery and development.
- Employer Brand development including tone-of-voice.
- Develop frameworks and toolkits to ensure consistency where required.
- Measure and optimise employer brand impact across attraction and retention metrics.
- Talent Attraction & Recruitment Marketing
- Multi-channel attraction strategy (careers site, LinkedIn, digital campaigns, job boards, events).
- Develop targeted, persona-led campaigns for priority hiring segments.
- Measure campaign performance through data and insights and produce ROI reporting.
- Talent Community & Engagement
- Design and manage nurture campaigns within the ATS to engage talent communities.
- Build candidate personas and targeted engagement journeys.
- Deliver compelling, segmented content aligned to candidate motivations and market trends.
- Identify new channels/opportunities to reach candidates e.g. fairs, open days etc.
- Brand Enablement & Governance
- Develop employer brand assets, toolkits, and enablement materials.
- Work closely with Comms to develop and bring to life an engaging internal/external comms strategy.
- Ensure consistent, inclusive, and on-brand messaging across all candidate touchpoints.
- Monitor market trends and introduce innovative attraction strategies.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Significant experience in employer branding and recruitment marketing within multi-brand or matrix organisations.
- Proven success developing or reshaping EVPs and driving measurable ROI from attraction campaigns.
- Strong experience with ATS/CRM nurture strategies and recruitment marketing technology.
- Highly data-driven, with strong analytics and reporting capability.
- Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence at senior level.
Desirable:
- Experience in higher education or professional services.
- Familiarity with Teamtailor or similar platforms.
- Experience managing creative or media agencies.
