  • Supporting a diverse student population, including mature and widening participation learners, with flexible and inclusive guidance.

Alongside student support, you’ll strengthen employer engagement by:

  • Building relationships with relevant employers and alumni to create opportunities.
  • Coordinating guest speakers, placements, internships, and live industry projects.
  • Supporting careers fairs, networking events, and employer-led activity aligned to your subject area.

You’ll also contribute to the development of a high-performing service by:

  • Supporting the implementation of processes, systems, and best practice approaches.
  • Monitoring engagement and outcomes, using data to inform improvements.
  • Developing digital resources to enhance accessibility and reach.

  • Proven ability to deliver engaging workshops and career coaching.

Desirable:

  • Industry insight within Business or Hospitality.
  • Experience supporting diverse, mature, or widening participation students.
  • Experience developing digital or online employability resources.

You’ll also bring:

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence working across academic and employer stakeholders.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of students from a wide range of backgrounds.
