We are looking for an experienced Legal Operations Manager to provide critical operational support to our in‑house Legal function. This role will work closely with the Group General Counsel and Legal team to drive efficiency, consistency, and value across legal processes, systems, and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of Legal team members alongside the Senior Executive Legal Assistant, including systems and process training.
- Legal Operations & Process Improvement: Review and optimise legal processes, embedding clear ways of working and ensuring compliance with agreed playbooks and manuals.
- Legal Tech & AI Enablement: Oversee the adoption and optimisation of legal technology and AI tools, working with suppliers and internal teams to ensure effective integration.
- Communications: Draft clear updates from the Legal team to stakeholders, covering process changes, policy updates and key initiatives.
- Invoice & PO Management: Manage legal invoicing queries, monitor compliance with billing guidelines, and liaise with Finance and external law firms.
- Knowledge Management & Training: Maintain legal knowledge hubs, templates, playbooks and matter management data. Support the delivery of training on legal processes and tools.
- Project Management: Support and coordinate legal operations projects aligned to priorities set by the Group General Counsel.
About You:
- Highly organised, detail‑focused and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Proactive, pragmatic and solution‑oriented.
- Strong communicator, confident working with senior stakeholders.
- Tech‑savvy, with experience using systems such as Agresso, Sage, and iManage.
- Collaborative and able to work effectively with Legal, Finance, IT and external law firms.
- Strong planning, prioritisation and delivery skills.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in senior operations roles, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
- Strong capability in data management, MI reporting and business intelligence tools.
- Experience with legal case management / intake systems and data governance.
- Proven experience delivering or influencing cross‑functional operational projects.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity and data security principles relevant to system access and data management.
