The Senior Temporary Works Engineer will design innovative concepts, collaborate with top engineers, and uphold their stellar reputation. Daily tasks include creating cutting-edge designs, risk assessments, site visits, mentoring future engineers, and managing their London client base/projects.
To qualify:
- You should be a Senior Temporary Works Engineer / Experience Temporary Works Engineer / Temporary Works Solution Engineer / Temporary Works Planning Engineer or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
- Experience in engineering a range of temporary works solutions.
- A HNC, Bachelors, or Masters degree in a Civil Engineering subject.
- Membership in ICE or IStructE (working towards chartered status).
- A comprehensive understanding of temporary works design solutions and fundamental engineering principles; familiar with FEA software packages.
- The ability to value engineer and understand the economic impact on client costs.
- You can work independently and have excellent time management skills.
- A strong ability to visualise and clearly communicate solutions.
- You are confident and professional in team and client interactions.
- You are capable of managing projects from inception to completion, including preparing quotes, writing design briefs, and setting goals.
- Experience in developing and managing an office client base, mentoring graduate engineers, and overseeing staff performance.
