Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and technically capable Telecoms Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot and coordinate telecoms and connectivity services across multiple product sets.

This is a hands-on, field-based role: day-to-day, you will be installing structured cabling and Wi Fi access points, setting up hosted phone systems, coordinating orders and diagnosing/resolving faults on customer sites.

This role suits someone with a solid grounding in telecoms installation and network troubleshooting who enjoys hands-on technical work, is comfortable working independently on customer sites, and takes pride in getting the detail right.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, terminate and test structured cabling (Cat5/Cat6/Cat6a) to a high standard, including first and second fix, patching and labelling.
  • Install and maintain Wi Fi access points, ensuring correct placement, cabling, power (Po E) and connectivity checks.
  • Carry out network troubleshooting, including basic router/switch configuration and connectivity checks, to diagnose and resolve faults on site.
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding appointment times, delays, or changes to scope.
  • Ensure equipment, materials and site access are in place ahead of each visit, keeping job logs and internal systems accurate and up to date
