We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and hardworking individuals to join our care team in Aldershot as a Healthcare Assistant & Housekeeper. This dual-role position combines delivering high-quality personal care to residents with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the care home.
About the Role
Provide person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans
Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Support residents with mobility using appropriate equipment
Assist with meals and hydration, including feeding where required
Observe and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional well-being
Promote dignity, respect, independence, and choice at all times
Maintain accurate care records in line with company policies and CQC standards
Work collaboratively with nurses, senior carers, and the wider team
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the care home
Clean resident bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and staff areas
Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times
Manage laundry, including residents’ clothing and bedding
Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and safely stored
Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
