As an Assistant Manager Procurement Systems Support at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in spearheading the evolution of the digital landscape to drive innovation and excellence. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing Level 3 support for procurement systems such as SAP Ariba, SAP HANA, Coupa, iCertis, and ProcessUnity by resolving complex incidents and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. You will act as a subject matter expert for these platforms.
- Coordinating and supporting scheduled system upgrades, patch deployments, and release cycles. This will involve collaborating with IT and vendor teams to validate changes and ensure smooth transitions.
- Identifying opportunities for system optimization and process automation, leading or supporting minor works and enhancements to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
- Supporting the onboarding of new Barclays legal entities into the procurement ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration and configuration of procurement platforms to meet entity-specific requirements.
- Leading and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing for new features, enhancements, and fixes. You will develop test plans, execute test cases, and document results.
- Collaborating closely with Procurement, Finance, Business users, and IT teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver system solutions that align with business needs.
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation for system configurations, support procedures, and training materials. You will contribute to knowledge base articles and user guides.
Desirable / Good to have skills for this role include familiarity with incident management and change control processes, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, and experience in onboarding new business units or legal entities into enterprise systems.
In addition to the specific role responsibilities, you will also support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives, collaborate with teams across the bank, identify areas for improvement, develop operational procedures and controls, and participate in projects to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
You are expected to perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently driving continuous improvement.
