Role Purpose

To support the Store Manager in achieving the store’s sales budget by providing exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and striving to achieve store targets across sales and conversion. The customer should remain the number one priority at all times.

To promote effective teamwork through clear communication with the Store Manager and wider team. To work collaboratively with the Store Manager and team to make a positive contribution to the store, sharing ideas and feedback to help drive sales, improve profitability and deliver our vision and values.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Ensure customers are greeted within two minutes of entering the store and consistently demonstrate all aspects of YATD training, providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Be aware of store sales, conversion and ATV targets, and actively work towards achieving them while ensuring the customer remains the number one priority.
• Ensure all stock is accurately priced, supported by effective POS materials to promote offers, and maintained at appropriate stock levels. Report low stock levels to the manager and support with placing orders promptly when required.
• Ensure all incoming stock is accurately booked into the system.
• Support the merchandising of the store, working with the Store Manager to ensure displays are commercial, impactful and that each range is positioned in the correct space. Provide feedback and ideas for improving the store’s visual presentation.
• Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve store objectives, supporting the manager and proactively identifying opportunities to improve performance.
• Discuss training and development needs with the Store Manager to support continuous learning and development.
• Proactively encourage customers to sign up to the company mailing list.
• Assist with regular mini and half-yearly stocktakes, ensuring stock is counted accurately.
• Open and close the store in line with business requirements, including during the absence of the Store Manager or Deputy Manager, or as directed by the Store Manager.
