Are you passionate about early years education and ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Early Years & Childcare Manager to join our friendly team at Gunthorpe Primary School. As Preschool Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading our preschool and wraparound care provision, ensuring exceptional standards of care, learning and safeguarding for all our children.

You will manage and inspire a dedicated team, support curriculum quality, drive continuous improvement and be the first point of contact for parents and the local community. Within this role you will work 37 hours per week on a term time only basis, working 08:15 to 16:15 Monday to Thursday and 08:15 to 16:00 on a Friday, over 38 weeks of the academic year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operational management of the preschool and wraparound care
  • Leading on safeguarding as Deputy DSL
  • Working with the Headteacher to ensure the EYFS curriculum is of a high quality provision
  • Managing staff, budgets and business operations
  • Building strong relationships with parents and the community
