Gunpowder is looking for an experienced and passionate manager to lead our Soho restaurant. We are known for bold flavours and warm hospitality, providing vibrant and high-energy service.

The Role

  • Lead and develop the front of house team with clear and supportive management.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences every service.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards in service, food, and cleanliness.
  • Hire, train, and develop team members to build a motivated and high-performing team.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service.
  • Manage rotas, staffing levels, and labour in line with business needs.
  • Maintain compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Support financial and operational goals through strong organisation and commercial awareness.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, or a strong Assistant Manager ready to step up.
  • Genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience.
  • Excellent communication and people‐management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Ability to lead calmly and confidently under pressure.
  • Hands‐on, floor‐led leadership style.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
