The Role
Our Real Estate Partner is seeking the addition of a 2+ years PQE Solicitor to join their high calibre, growing team in Hull / East Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will be a conscientious team player with a strong drive to progress transactions efficiently. They will have a solid understanding of real estate law and a desire to expand their expertise within a well-regarded real estate team in Hull / East Yorkshire. Part-time working arrangements are available (3-4 days per week). This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking for work-life balance, reduced hours, or a phased return to practice. You will become part of a supportive, social and friendly team at a leading national and international law firm.
You will have the opportunity to run a diverse and stimulating caseload of high-quality work (both local and national) across a range of commercial property transactions, including:
- Dealing with acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold properties
- Dealing with ongoing management of commercial leasehold properties, including drafting and negotiating leases, lease assignments, licences to underlet and ancillary leasehold documentation.
- Dealing with property investment transactions (both commercial and residential), including portfolio acquisitions and disposals.
- Dealing with real estate finance transactions
Essential Experience:
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 2 years PQE
- Significant experience in commercial real estate matters.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload, meet client expectations and deliver high-quality work in line with required deadlines.
- A collaborative approach, with a willingness to work closely with team members.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clients, as well as associated professionals, building trust, confidence and reliability.
- Act as a brand ambassador, enhancing the market reputation of the business.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and creative thinking.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a junior Solicitor to springboard their career and join a progressive and flexible environment working alongside like-minded lawyers.
Working Arrangement:
This position is open to both Full-time and Part-time working arrangements. This role offers hybrid working arrangement with the scope to accommodate part home/part office based working.
