We are looking for a Non-contentious Construction Solicitor 6+ years PQE to join our reputable Construction Team. You will be joining a team of five solicitors, covering both contentious and non-contentious work, and will be working as a Non-Contentious Construction Senior Associate or Legal Counsel in a rapidly growing team for a Construction Partner based in London, servicing clients across England and Wales. The ideal candidate will be analytical, focused and conscientious, with strong expertise in construction law and a small, portable book of business. This role can be based in any of our SRA-registered offices or undertaken remotely, with very occasional office attendance for networking and business development purposes (c. Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships This is suitable for individuals who want to step away from a traditional model and springboard their career in a top 75 Law Firm. You will have experience managing a varied non-contentious construction caseload, working within a heavy hitting team. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating building contracts, consultant appointments, development agreements, collateral warranties and other ancillary construction documents Assisting our real estate finance team with construction due diligence (borrower and lender) Supporting real estate, banking and corporate teams on construction elements of wider transactions Handling matters with minimal supervision and prioritising workload effectively Identifying legal risks and providing pragmatic solutions Keeping up to date with relevant legal and market developments Commercial awareness and negotiating skills. Strong IT skills (specifically Outlook, Microsoft Excel/Word and Data Rooms).
