The Role
We are looking for an ambitious Graduate to join our reputable Corporate Partner in Leicester.
The role will play a key part in supporting one of our Leicester based Corporate Partners and their team.
The ideal candidate will be seeking a full-time role and demonstrate a genuine passion for the legal profession, coupled with a strong desire to continuously learn and grow.
We seek someone who is enthusiastic about acquiring new skills and is eager to adapt and excel in a dynamic & challenging environment.
Jahid Ali is committed to professional development and is searching for a dedicated, long-term team player. As a testament to this commitment, the successful candidate who demonstrates promise will be sponsored to enrol in the SQE program after six months, paving the way for a rewarding journey towards qualification.
We are not seeking a finished product, but rather an individual with a lot of potential.
Personal Specification
To be successful in the role:
- You will hold a bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
- You will be East-Midlands based, preferably in Leicester.
- You will be driven and a quick learner.
- You will be pro-active, efficient, organised, keen to take the initiative and to drive transactions forward.
In exchange, you will benefit from comprehensive technical training and personalised mentorship provided by an esteemed Corporate Partner. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse and high-calibre caseload encompassing mergers & acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and much more.
The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to build strong rapport and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Strong IT skills (specifically Outlook, Microsoft Excel/Word and Data Rooms).
- Ability to plan work and prioritise tasks.
