The Role
We are looking for a Legal Billings Coordinator to join our fast-paced Finance team in Manchester City Centre.
- Drafting sales ledger invoices following the firm’s practices and SRA regulations.
- Dealing with any follow-up queries from fee earners concerning their draft bill requests.
- Dealing with general sales ledger enquiries that come into the department.
- Ensure all SLAs are met, emails within the group mailbox (via Zendesk) are responded to promptly, and all bills awaiting approval are chased regularly.
- Provide guidance to Partners on the firm’s financial processes and procedures relating to the billing process, as well as build and manage relationships both within the finance team and with the wider firm.
- Preparation of reconciliations, reports, and ad hoc information as requested.

Experience
- Applicants must have relevant experience of the role and experience of working within a busy office environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in billing is required.
- A strong VAT knowledge is necessary to support our international client base.
- Prior experience with 3E billing is desirable.
- LEDES and E-Billing portal experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
