A growing Main Contractor based in Hampshire is looking to recruit a Technical Services Manager to support the development of their M&E offering. This role would suit someone looking to step into a broader position with more responsibility and the opportunity to help shape the future growth of an M&E division. The company would consider candidates coming from an M&E Subcontractor background or someone currently working within a smaller business looking for the next step in their career.
Alongside supporting the technical delivery of projects, the role will also involve helping build processes, developing supply chain relationships and supporting the company’s long-term growth plans within M&E services.
The Role:
- Supporting the delivery of M&E packages across construction projects
- Working closely with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
- Assisting with the development of systems and commercial processes
- Building relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
- Supporting technical submissions and proposals
- Helping establish preferred supplier databases and compliance procedures
- Assisting with project coordination and contract management
- Acting as a client-facing representative for M&E matters
Requirements:
- Experience within an M&E, Technical Services or Building Services role
- Background working for an M&E Subcontractor or smaller contractor considered
- Good technical understanding of mechanical and electrical services
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ambitious and eager to grow within a developing role
- CIBSE qualification or working towards preferred
Salary & Package:
- Up to around £65,000 depending on experience
