The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
We’re delighted to be working on this newly created opening, which requires a commercially focused FP&A professional to support in the delivery of key financial analysis and decision-making across the business. Working closely with the Finance Business Partners, Finance Director and wider Finance team, you’ll be tasked with producing a wide range of financial analysis and calculations to inform strategic decisions and assist with performance analysis across the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Finance team in delivering detailed client profitability analysis, scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis.
- Assist in building and maintaining robust profitability models for individual departments and teams across the business to support performance evaluation.
- Develop and enhance financial models to support pricing decisions, budgeting processes, and forecasting.
- Work with both the Finance and IT teams to enhance financial systems, reporting infrastructure and transformation of reporting structures to Power BI tools.
- Interrogate financial information to generate meaningful insights on client profitability, team structures and to assist with strategic decision making.
- Translate complex financial analysis into clear, reader-friendly insights and recommendations for Partners and senior stakeholders.
- Contribute and identify areas for continuous improvement of reporting processes and profitability analysis.
The ideal candidate for the role will hold considerable experience in the following key areas:
- Previous experience within an FP&A, management accounting, or financial analysis role – those from a professional services background would be of particular interest.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with large data sets and confidently interpret financial data.
- Ability to present complex information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience with Power BI or similar BI/reporting tools (experience building dashboards and visual reporting tools within Power BI would be advantageous).
- Proactive, collaborative and a confident communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships.
