What We Need
We are looking for a Material Handler to join our Gunlocke team in Wayland, NY!
What You Will Do
- Loads, unloads, and moves materials and product to the proper location.
- Package, or unpackage materials for movement.
- May operate material movement equipment (forklift, hand truck, cart) to assist with material movement.
- Perform packing functions that may include building cartons, packing to standard, labeling with correct information using a shrink gun and transporting unit to proper location.
- Perform shipping and/or receiving functions to properly load product onto correct material movement device (cart, truck, pallet).
- Keep a neat and orderly workstation.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Wear all required PPE; work safely at all times and report any unsafe condition to your Supervisor.
- Perform Cycle Counts.
- Will be required to operate a forklift, must obtain certification.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, stoop and bend for extended periods of time.

- Ability to consistently meet high quality/quantity performance standards.
- Must comply with company rules, regulations and safety practices.
