MAIN PURPOSE
Design technician to provide support to the design and sales team.
KEY DUTIES
- Preparation of CAD and REVIT design project drawing packages.
- Preparation of builders work and service schedules.
- Preparation of risk assessments and method statements.
- Preparation of ad-hoc design work as required.
- Attend design team meetings and liaising with end clients, architects and interior designers in a confident and proactive manner building effective working relationships.
- Liaison with the sales team.
- General office administration as required.
- ATTRIBUTES / QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualification and experience in CAD & Revit would be desirable.
- Knowledge / previous experience within the construction industry is preferable.
- Formal Industry qualification, e. g. HND, CIOB would be beneficial.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural technical drawings and schematics.
- Self-motivated and able to self-manage when required.
- Build good working relationships with other parties both internal and external.
- Swimming pool design knowledge is preferable but not essential as training will be given.
