A lovely family based in Pyrford are seeking an experienced part time nanny to care for their two children, aged 4 and 6 years old.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, reliable and proactive nanny who enjoys providing engaging after-school care and becoming a trusted part of a family’s routine.
The role will involve preparing the children’s evening meal before collecting them from school, followed by school pick-ups and afternoon and evening care.
A confident driver would be preferred to assist with school runs and activities.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for young children, be organised and able to manage routines independently.
Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.
Duties include
- preparing a healthy and nutritious meal for the children before school pick-up
- collecting the children from school
- providing attentive and nurturing after-school care
- planning fun and age-appropriate activities
- taking the children to local activities and outings when required
- supporting homework and encouraging learning
- organising creative and outdoor play
- preparing snacks and drinks
- supporting bath time and evening routines
- keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
- washing up and keeping the kitchen tidy after preparing meals
- helping with school bags, uniforms and belongings
- supporting the children’s daily routines and encouraging independence
- driving the children to activities when required
