Supply Desk is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join one of the fantastic schools we service in Brighton from September. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities to make a real difference in the lives of young learners with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with SEN, adapting to their unique learning needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and development of every student.
- Manage challenging behaviour, using appropriate de-escalation techniques.
- Adapt to different school environments and work collaboratively with staff.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN (including Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties) is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with SEN.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Current DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
