A warm, welcoming and professional family based in Haywards Heath is seeking an experienced, caring and proactive nanny to join them on a long-term basis.
The family has 8-year-old twin daughters and a 1-year-old son, Jude.
Jude will be attending nursery four days per week, so the role will primarily focus on providing after-school wraparound care for the twins, collecting them from school and caring for them at home, alongside nursery collection and care for Jude later in the afternoon.
The family is looking for someone who is genuinely nurturing, organised and reliable, and who would enjoy becoming a trusted and valued part of family life.
Role
This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced nanny to provide consistent wraparound care for three children, with the main responsibilities centred around the twins’ after-school routine and collecting their younger brother from nursery.
- Collecting the 8-year-old twins from school.
- Providing warm, engaging and reliable after-school care.
- Collecting Jude from nursery on required days.
- Caring for the children through the afternoon and early evening.
- Planning fun, stimulating and age-appropriate activities.
- Supporting homework and the twins’ after-school routine where required.
- Encouraging learning, development and independence through play and everyday activities.
- Preparing healthy snacks and simple evening meals for the children.
- Supporting the children’s evening routine where required.
- Children’s laundry.
- Keeping children’s bedrooms, play areas and belongings clean and organised.
- Taking the children to local activities, clubs or outings where required.
- Working closely with the parents to maintain routines and consistency.
- Occasional babysitting or additional hours by mutual agreement.
- Hours
4 afternoons per week.
Approximately 3:00pm–7:00pm.
Some flexibility would be welcomed where possible.
Any additional hours or babysitting can be agreed separately with the family.
