A lovely family based in Wimbledon are looking for an experienced and caring part time nanny housekeeper to support the care of their three children, aged 5 years, 3 years and 4 months old. This role offers a mixture of childcare and light housekeeping, with the baby primarily cared for by the mother, making it an ideal opportunity for a candidate who enjoys working as part of a team while helping to keep the household running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will be warm, organised and proactive, with experience caring for children of different ages. They should be confident supporting after-school routines, assisting with household duties and working collaboratively with the parents. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

  • Supporting the care of the children after school and nursery
  • Providing shared care for the baby alongside the mother
  • Supervising and engaging the older children in age-appropriate activities
  • Assisting with school and nursery pick-ups when required
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
  • Supporting homework and reading activities
  • Helping with bath time and evening routines
  • Keeping children’s bedrooms, nursery and play areas tidy and organised
  • Undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
  • Cleaning and tidying the kitchen, bathrooms and family living areas
  • Laundry and ironing, particularly for the children
  • Changing bed linen and maintaining household linens
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
  • Running light household errands when required
  • Preparing simple family meals when needed
  • Ensuring the home remains tidy, organised and welcoming each day
