A lovely family based in Kentish Town are seeking an experienced and reliable part-time nanny/housekeeper to assist with the care of their two children aged 5 and 7 years old, while helping with the smooth running of their home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone warm, organised and proactive who enjoys balancing childcare and household responsibilities. The role will primarily cover after-school hours, with core working hours of 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The family live in a 5-bedroom house and have one large but very friendly dog, so candidates must be comfortable around pets. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Responsibilities
- Collecting the children from school when required
- Supporting after-school routines and activities
- Helping with homework and school preparation
- Preparing healthy snacks and simple meals for the children
- Providing engaging and age-appropriate activities
- General housekeeping and maintaining tidiness throughout the home
- Doing laundry and ironing
- Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas organised
- Helping with household organisation and day-to-day tasks
- Occasional care and supervision of the family dog
