About the role
A lovely family based in Hackney are seeking an experienced and caring part-time nanny/housekeeper to support the care of their two children while maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming home.
This is a warm, proactive and reliable candidate who enjoys balancing childcare with housekeeping responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for both children
- Support the baby’s feeding, nap and developmental routines
- Plan engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Support nursery or school routines for the older child
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
- General housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- Make beds and change bed linen
- Keep children’s bedrooms, nursery and play areas tidy and organised
- Clean the kitchen, bathrooms and living areas
- Run household errands when required
- Assist with light meal preparation for the family
- Help care for the family cat when needed
- Ensure the home remains organised, welcoming and running smoothly each day
Requirements
- Paediatric First Aid
- Enhanced DBS check
- UK work permit
