A lovely family based in Clapham are seeking an experienced and caring part time nanny housekeeper cook to support the care of their 4-year-old child while helping with the smooth running of the household. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, organised and proactive candidate who enjoys combining childcare, housekeeping and cooking in a busy family home. The ideal candidate will be reliable, energetic and able to use their initiative, creating a fun and nurturing environment for the child while ensuring the home remains clean, organised and well managed. The role includes preparing family meals and occasional evening cover every second Friday.
Responsibilities
- Collecting the child from school or nursery when required
- Providing attentive and nurturing childcare
- Planning fun, educational and age-appropriate activities
- Preparing healthy snacks and evening meals for the child and family
- Supporting the child’s evening routine, including bath and bedtime preparation
- General housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- Making beds and changing bed linen
- Keeping the child’s bedroom, play areas and communal spaces tidy and organised
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- Grocery shopping and running household errands when required
- Preparing fresh, healthy family meals
- Helping ensure the home remains organised, welcoming and running smoothly each day
- Providing evening childcare every second Friday from 7:00pm to 10:00pm when required
Requirements
- Paediatric First Aid
- Enhanced DBS check
- UK work permit
