A lovely family based in Whetstone are seeking an experienced part time housekeeper / nanny to support their two children, aged 10 and 13 years old, while helping to maintain their four-bedroom home.
This is a varied role suited to a reliable, organised and proactive candidate who enjoys combining childcare with household support.
The ideal candidate will be confident caring for older children, managing after-school routines and helping with homework and activities.
They should also be happy to take responsibility for general housekeeping duties and use their initiative around the home.
A driver is preferred, and a car can be provided for the role.
Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.
Duties include
- collecting the children from school or activities when required
- providing reliable after-school care
- supporting homework, reading and school-related tasks
- preparing healthy snacks and simple meals
- planning age-appropriate activities and outings
- taking the children to activities and appointments when required
- supporting the children’s evening routines
- undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the children’s bedrooms and living areas tidy and organised
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
