A lovely family based in Barnet are seeking an experienced and caring part-time housekeeper nanny to support the care of their two children while helping to maintain a clean and organised home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, reliable and proactive candidate who enjoys balancing childcare with housekeeping responsibilities. Additional hours can be offered on Wednesdays and Fridays for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for young children, be organised and able to work independently while ensuring the household runs smoothly. A driver would be highly desirable to assist with school and nursery routines, although this is not essential. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and nurturing care for both children
  • Support nursery and school routines
  • Collect children from nursery and school when required
  • Plan engaging and age-appropriate activities
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
  • Support the children’s learning and development through play
  • Assist with bath time and evening routines
  • General housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
  • Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
  • Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
  • Make beds and change bed linen
  • Keep the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
  • Run household errands when required
  • Drive the children to activities if applicable
  • Ensure the home remains tidy, organised and welcoming at all times

  • Current Paediatric First Aid
  • Current Enhanced DBS
  • UK Work Permit
  • Valid Driver’s License
