A lovely family based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire is seeking a reliable and experienced part time housekeeper to help maintain their home to a high standard. This is a regular position suited to someone who is organised, hardworking and takes pride in keeping a home clean, tidy and well presented. The ideal candidate will be confident carrying out general housekeeping duties independently and have excellent attention to detail. They should be comfortable working around dogs and have a friendly, proactive approach to their responsibilities.
Duties include:
- carrying out general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning and maintaining bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing surfaces
- laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organised
- washing up and tidying after meals
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and household areas
- maintaining a tidy and welcoming home environment
- monitoring household cleaning supplies and replenishing when required
- working comfortably around the family's dog
- ensuring the home is consistently clean and presentable
