HMP Grendon is a Category B training prison, while HMP Springhill is a Category D open prison, and they are jointly managed and maintained by the same facilities team. We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Painter Decorator with a combination of: – A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and decorating or equivalent (or significant experience/time served in a similar role) – Experience working in a maintenance team – An honest and reliable character, who can approach their work with a sense of purpose and pace – Good Health & Safety knowledge. – Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
