A lovely family with two boys, aged 9 years and 2.5 years, is looking for an experienced and nurturing After School Nanny to provide attentive care throughout the afternoons and evenings.
- Start: September 2026
- Location: Kensington, London
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 12pm–6pm/7pm. 30–35 hours per week. Hours to upscale in school holidays
- Salary: £45,000–£50,000 gross per annum
- Overview
The youngest attends nursery each morning, while the eldest finishes school between 4pm and 5pm.
Both schools are within walking distance of the family home.
The role involves collecting the children, planning activities, supporting homework and music practice, preparing healthy evening meals, and managing the children's evening routine.
The family would ideally love someone happy to travel with them occasionally, although this is not essential.
Dad travels regularly for work, so occasional flexibility for morning cover may be required, with time off in lieu or an early finish provided.
Duties
- Nursery and school pick‑ups (walking distance)
- Planning age‑appropriate activities, outings and park visits
- Supervising homework and music practice
- Taking children to local activities, including tennis in Holland Park
- Preparing healthy meals and supper for the children
- Managing bath time and evening routines
- Children's laundry and wardrobe organisation
- Tidying children's bedrooms and play areas
- Supporting during school holidays with increased hours
