A lovely family based in Wimbledon are seeking an experienced live out nanny housekeeper to care for their two young children, aged 3 years and 1 year, while helping to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, proactive and reliable candidate who enjoys combining childcare with household support in a busy family environment. The family have one friendly dog, so applicants should be comfortable working in a pet-friendly household, although no dog walking is required. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and nurturing care for the children
- supporting daily routines, including meals, naps and nursery activities
- planning stimulating and age-appropriate activities
- encouraging learning and development through play
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- helping with bath time and evening routines
- taking the children to local classes, parks and outings when appropriate
- keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
- undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care for the family
- making beds and changing bed linen
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- preparing simple family meals when required
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and running smoothly at all times
