Overview

We are looking for a Daily Afterschool Nanny for a professional‑friendly couple in N5, Islington, London.

The role supports three boys aged 10, 8 and 2 during term weeks and school holidays.

The nanny will have full charge of the daily routine for the children and will be responsible for transportation, after‑school activities, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and organised home.

  • Work Schedule and Location
  • Term (42 weeks per annum) – Monday & Friday 2:30pm to 6pm, Tuesday to Thursday 2:30pm to 8pm with flexibility to work until 9pm when needed.
  • School holidays (10 weeks) 9am to 6pm.
  • Location: N5, Islington, London.
  • Pets: large dog (friendly/Swiss Shepherd), so love of dogs required.

Compensation

Salary: Circa £31,614 gross per annum based on £22 per hour. Start: August/September 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Collect the younger children by car during the week and on holidays.
  • Support homework, take to clubs and extracurricular activities.
  • Prepare healthy meals prior to collection if needed.
  • Provide domestic duties related to the children when time permits.
  • Entertain with play, supervise bath and bedtime routines.
  • Organise fun days out and social play during holidays.
  • Ensure the boys are safe, stimulated and happy and leave the home organised at the end of each day.
  • Key Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of professional nanny experience caring for multiple children including a toddler.
  • Natural affinity with children; hands‑on, loving, playful and interested in their daily life and learning.
  • Mature and responsible, with excellent time‑keeping and calm manner for after‑school routines.
  • Healthy lifestyle and positive outlook.
  • Confident and experienced driver.
  • Committed to a long‑term arrangement and able to commute to N5.
  • Love of dogs.
