Key Responsibilities- Safely transport patients between wards, departments, and treatment areas
- Move medical equipment, beds, trolleys, and supplies across the hospital
- Assist clinical staff with non-medical support duties
- Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety during transportation
- Deliver items and documentation promptly throughout the hospital
- Follow all hospital health & safety and infection control procedures
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Physically fit and capable of being on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with shifts
- Previous porter or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS may be required
