We are looking for a passionate and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a highly regarded school in the Bierton area. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to actively contribute to a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting both teaching and learning, helping to shape a positive educational experience for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons, providing focused support to individuals and small groups.
- Assist in developing and adapting learning resources to meet the diverse needs of students, aligned with the school’s curriculum goals.
- Help assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to students and teachers, and support the implementation of improvement strategies.
- Promote and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment by effectively applying the school’s behaviour management policies.
- Offer tailored support to students with special educational needs or additional learning requirements, adjusting teaching approaches to suit varied learning styles.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on educational best practices and foster a culture of learning within the school.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent is required.
- Proven experience in a similar school-based role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
