A lovely family based in Gravesend are seeking an experienced and caring part time nanny housekeeper to support the care of their three children, aged 8 years, 3 years and 8 months old, while helping to keep the home clean, organised and running smoothly. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, proactive and reliable candidate who enjoys balancing childcare with housekeeping responsibilities in a busy family home.
The ideal candidate will have experience caring for children of a range of ages, particularly babies and young children, and be confident managing daily routines while using their initiative around the home. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- Providing attentive and nurturing care for the children
- Supporting the daily routines of the baby, toddler and school-aged child
- Planning engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Supporting school and nursery routines when required
- Assisting with homework and encouraging learning through play
- Helping with bath time and evening routines
- Keeping the children's bedrooms, nursery and play areas tidy and organized
- Undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care for the family
- Making beds and changing bed linen
