A lovely family based in Tooting is looking for an experienced and reliable full time nanny / housekeeper to care for their 2.5-year-old child while also helping to keep the home clean, tidy and organised. They are looking for someone warm, responsible and proactive who can provide a good balance of childcare and household support. The ideal candidate will be confident caring for a young child and happy to take care of the day-to-day housekeeping alongside the childcare. This is a lovely opportunity for someone looking for a stable Monday to Friday position with a friendly family.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and engaging care for the 2.5-year-old child
- planning age-appropriate activities and outings
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
- supporting the child’s daily routine
- keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas tidy
- children’s laundry and ironing
- keeping the home clean and organised
- dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors
- cleaning bathrooms and bedrooms
- laundry and ironing for the household
- changing bed linen and towels
- keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
- washing and putting away dishes
- general household organisation
- helping with day-to-day household tasks as required
