Overview
A welcoming family in Hammersmith are looking for a dedicated and experienced full time live out nanny housekeeper to join their household and provide support with the care of their two children, aged 2 and 6 years old. The role will involve a mixture of childcare and household duties, ideal for a candidate who enjoys creating a nurturing environment for children while ensuring the home is kept organised and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Caring for the children in a warm and nurturing manner
- Supporting the children’s daily routines and encouraging independence
- Arranging stimulating activities, playdates and outings
- Assisting with nursery and school drop-offs and pick-ups
- Preparing nutritious meals, snacks and drinks for the children
- Supporting the children’s learning, reading and homework
- Helping with bath time and bedtime routines
- Keeping children’s rooms, toys and play areas neat and organised
- Undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- Cleaning and tidying bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- Managing children’s laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation
- Changing bed linen and maintaining household linens
- Shopping for groceries and household essentials
- Assisting with pet care when required
- Ensuring the home remains clean, comfortable and well organised
Qualifications & Requirements
- Paediatric First Aid
- Enhanced DBS check
- UK work permit
- Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential
- Excellent experience looking after young children and managing household responsibilities
- Confident working independently, with a good eye for detail and comfortable around pets
