A lovely family based in Richmond, London is seeking an experienced and dedicated full time Norland-trained nanny to care for their two children, aged 4 and 6. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Norland nanny who is passionate about childcare and enjoys supporting children’s development in a warm and nurturing home environment.
The ideal candidate will be professional, organised and proactive, with strong childcare knowledge and previous experience caring for children of similar ages. They should be confident managing daily routines, planning engaging activities and supporting the children’s emotional, social and educational development. Norland training is essential for this position.
Duties include:
- providing attentive, nurturing and age-appropriate care for both children
- managing the children’s daily routines and schedules
- organising morning and evening routines
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- planning fun, educational and age-appropriate activities
- supporting learning through play, reading and creative activities
- assisting with homework, reading and school projects
- organising outings and activities to encourage learning and development
- supporting the children’s social, emotional and physical development
- taking the children to school, clubs and other activities when required
- maintaining the children’s bedrooms, play areas and belongings
- organising school bags, uniforms and children’s clothing
- supporting good manners, independence and positive behaviour
- communicating with parents regarding the children’s routines and progress
- ensuring the children’s safety and wellbeing at all times
- maintaining discretion, professionalism and confidentiality
Requirements:
- Current Paediatric First Aid
- Current Enhanced DBS
- UK Work Permit
