Job Description
A household in Chobham, Surrey, is looking for a reliable and experienced part time housekeeper to help keep their home clean, tidy and well organised. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, have good attention to detail and be able to manage their duties independently. The family is seeking someone who is organised, efficient and proactive, with previous housekeeping experience and the ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home. The candidate should be happy to work flexibly across 2–3 days per week.
Duties
- cleaning and maintaining all areas of the home
- dusting and wiping furniture and household surfaces
- vacuuming carpets and mopping hard floors
- cleaning bathrooms and keeping them hygienic
- cleaning kitchen surfaces and appliances
- making beds and changing bed linen
- managing laundry, ironing and putting clothes away
- keeping bedrooms and living areas tidy
- organising cupboards and household items
- washing up and keeping the kitchen clean and presentable
- emptying bins and replacing liners
- monitoring household supplies and reporting when items need replenishing
- ensuring the home remains neat, clean and well maintained
- working efficiently to complete tasks within the allocated hours
