A family in Chelmsford, Essex, is looking for a caring, reliable and organised part time nanny / housekeeper to care for their 16-month-old child and help keep their home clean and well maintained.
The ideal candidate will have experience with toddlers, be confident managing daily routines and take pride in maintaining a tidy and welcoming household.
The family is seeking someone warm, patient and proactive who can balance childcare with general housekeeping duties throughout the day.
The successful candidate should be comfortable around pets and able to create a safe, stimulating environment for the child while ensuring household tasks are completed to a good standard.
Duties include:
- providing attentive care and ensuring the child's safety and wellbeing
- planning age-appropriate activities to support the child's learning and development
- organising playtime, reading, outdoor activities and sensory play
- supporting the child's daily routine, including naps and mealtimes
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
- assisting with the child's feeding, dressing and personal hygiene
- keeping the child's bedroom, play areas and belongings tidy
- managing the child's laundry and organising their clothes
- cleaning and maintaining the household to a high standard
- dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors
- cleaning bathrooms and kitchen surfaces
- making beds and changing bed linen
- managing general laundry and ironing
- keeping living areas neat and organised
- ensuring the kitchen is clean and tidy after use
- maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for the family
- being comfortable working in a home with pets
