HGV1 (C+E) Day Driver

GBP17.00 per hour Overtime GBP22.50 per hour

Monday to Friday Immediate Starts Available

Pertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Day Drivers to support one of our valued clients with ongoing holiday cover requirements.

This role offers block weekly bookings, regular day shifts, minimal manual handling and immediate assessment opportunities.

The Role

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times between 05:00 - 05:30
  • Average 8-9 hour shifts
  • Delivering goods to trade and commercial sites
  • Operating curtain-side vehicles
  • Goods unloaded by FLT at delivery points
  • Minimal handball involved
  • Ongoing holiday cover with block bookings available

Pay Rates

  • GBP17.00 per hour
  • GBP22.50 per hour overtime rate after 10 hours worked per day
  • Weekly pay

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • 6-12 months Class 1 driving experience
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
  • Reliable and professional approach to work
