Staffline is recruiting Yard Marshal in Aylesbury.

The rate of pay is £14.73 per hour.

This is a full‑time role working Sunday to Thursday, and the hours of work are: 6.30am to 4.30pm.

Your Time at Work

The main duties will include

  • Meeting and greeting delivery and collection drivers on arrival.
  • Collecting the daily delivery and collection schedule from the admin team each morning.
  • Checking drivers in on arrival and controlling vehicle movements using the daily booking sheet.
  • Ensuring all drivers follow the site's health and safety rules, including the correct PPE requirements.
  • Monitoring that all loading and unloading activities are carried out in accordance with our site procedures.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards within the yard.
  • Monitoring/ manage pallet/ other storage and pallet control.

Full training will be provided on all site procedures and responsibilities before the individual starts carrying out the role independently.

The person must be able to speak, read, and understand English to a good standard, as they will be communicating with drivers and following site procedures.

An FLT licence is preferred, although it is not essential.
