About the Role
We are looking for caring and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants to work in a range of special educational needs settings across Steeple Claydon and the surrounding areas. This temp-to-perm role is ideal for individuals seeking a long-term opportunity while supporting pupils with additional learning needs. You may be supporting children with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, MLD, SLD, or complex needs in primary, secondary, or specialist provisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
- Support pupils with their academic, emotional, and social development.
- Implement individual support and behaviour strategies.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Support with personal care where required depending on the setting.
Requirements
- Experience working with children with SEN (formal or informal).
