Salary: £30,529 per annum

Location: Near Aylesbury (HP19)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 06:00 – 14:00 (37.5 hours per week)

We’re supporting a well-established engineering manufacturer near Aylesbury who are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector to join their Goods Inwards and Stores team. This is a hands-on role combining inspection and stores responsibilities, where you’ll be responsible for ensuring incoming materials and finished components meet required quality standards before progressing through the business.

Quality Inspector Responsibilities

  • Carry out goods-in inspection of raw materials and components
  • Inspect and verify parts using hand-held measuring equipment (verniers, calipers, micrometers)
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure compliance
  • Complete final inspection and packing of finished items
  • Accurately complete works tickets and quality documentation
  • Book in materials using the internal ERP system
  • Support general stores activities when required
  • Work in line with the company’s Quality Management System

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience using hand-held inspection tools (verniers, calipers, micrometers)
  • Experience working within a stores or goods-in environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working with systems and processes (ERP experience ideal)
  • Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
