We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operative to join our production team in Aylesbury. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary of £30,000 per year.
Working Hours
This role operates on a rotating shift pattern:
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- Monday to Friday.
Overtime will sometimes be required at weekends and additional early or late shifts may be required to meet business demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Print rolls of labels to specification.
- Use the correct tools and equipment to cut printed label rolls accurately.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Work as part of a team to achieve production targets.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in producing quality work.
- Is reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high attendance.
- Is physically fit, as the role involves standing for most of the shift.
- Can work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Is willing to work overtime when the business requires.
- Previous experience operating production machinery or working within a manufacturing or production environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Training
