This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR generalist to play a hands-on role in supporting managers and employees across the business.Working closely with HR Business Partners and the wider HR team, you'll provide high-quality advice and guidance across the full HR life cycle. Alongside operational HR and employee relations activity, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to HR projects, policy development, job evaluation and employee engagement initiatives.This role involves travelling to sites approximately 3-4 times per month (with less travel in other months). Applicants must have access to their own car and hold a clean driving licence.Key responsibilitiesHR management Deliver professional, practical HR advice and guidance to managers on all HR operational mattersTake a hands-on approach to supporting the full HR life cycle, taking personal responsibility for assigned areas of workSupport and, where appropriate, lead employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance matters.Prepare clear, well-structured documentation to support effective case management and risk mitigationSupport managers to apply HR policies and procedures consistently and confidentlyRecruitment Support the management of vacancies across parts of the organisationAssist with key stages of the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and compliant candidate experienceTraining, projects and continuous improvement Support the delivery of training and briefings on HR best practice for managersContribute to HR-led projects, including organisational change and service improvement initiativesSupport job evaluation activity, including working with recognised job evaluation frameworksAssist with the review, updating and implementation of HR policies and proceduresSupport the delivery and analysis of employee engagement survey activity and follow-up actions.Experience Required:You must have experience as an HR Advisor or HR Officer who has managed ER cases from end-end.You will ideally be qualified to level 3 of the CIPD.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
